Is he only referring to humanity or Earth expressors?
Stepping outside of determinism - how do we know that could not be a possibility from an entity/entities so radically different as to be beyond our capacity to even initiate conceptualizing about their abilities?

If they were that different from us, and somehow "outside of causality," we would not recognize them even as existing.
